You might be wondering why I would even want a Brita water filter, well, having just moved we are now drinking WELL WATER. That is right, 3 miles in from the ocean and we have well water, meaning that it is SALTY to the taste. YUCK! Anyway, Brita here we come.
Ok, so it is really easy! You take the pledge and you get money off Brita stuff. Good stuff.
Hi there. I found your site through a Google search on "Brita." Just wanted to let you know that while you are at it, you could also sign the petition (http://www.takebackthefilter.org)to urge Clorox, the company that makes Brita filters in the U.S., to take them back and recycle them at the end of their lives.
ReplyDeleteThe Filter For Good pledge is great. But there is still the plastic waste from the filters themselves. In Europe, the original Brita company takes them back and recycles them. Not so here in North America.
Please sign the petition, send us your used filters, and spread the word. Thanks!
The Brita website has info on sending back the filter for recycling.
